Cumberland Falls Scout.

Post by Ty Davis » Wed Jun 23, 2010 7:49 am

It was very hot and humid but we had a great time. The area wasn't much good for hunting so we decided to march out Sat. in order to travel to Martin's Station to fill the muster roll there. It really turned out to be a great trip?

Morning, Capt Ty,

Great photos, and the scout looks to have been a fun one, too. In the rock houses, do you make bough beds? How many miles did you do on that scout, or do you just get out there and enjoy the trip, without worrying about making any specific amount of miles? One day, I would love to join you guys! Just a tad too far, most of the time. Thanks for sharing your trip with us, and here's to many more in the future. Take care, and God Bless!

Every Good Wish,
Doc Mark

We did not make any bough beds on this trip but we have before. I tend to only do it during cold weather. This trip was a through hike so we had to pay attention to distance. We covered 4.5 miles according to the map.
